BREEDING WITH ROYAL CANIN FOOD PERSIAN 30
and Persian Kitten 32.
CATS – My love and passion Hello my name is Antonis Kastamonitis and i welcome you to my web - site! Hope you have a great time here! My earliest memories of childhood always include a cat in my home. This is obviously the first indication of my infatuation with felines that I carry through to my adulthood today.
While majoring in biology at an Italian University, I came upon the magical world of cat shows. This started an extensive interest and research on purebreds, specifically selective breeding of cats.
When I returned to my home in Athens, where I continue to reside today, I acquired my first purebred pedigreed cat in 1990, a black Persian, named Timbaud de le Berbie. This particular beauty was registered in the Feline Federation Francais, where I had the pleasure of meeting the Club Secretary, Ms. Susanne Arelli as well as Ms. Lysianne Chavallard, an international category I judge. With their support, I created the First Greek Cat Club, FELINE FEDERATION OF GREECE in 1995, which subsequently became a member of FIFE in 1997. Today, I continue to be the President of the Greek chapter of FIFE.
My second cat, a gorgeous red Persian, came from a California cattery (Topcattery Midas Polinikis) and helped me improve my breeding results. Soon after, I was fortunate to receive a stunning Persian white male from my friend Lysianne, whose features included a round head and amazingly expressive eyes, South Paw lines called Orient Express de la Charmarai. I then acquired a beautiful white male with Anona lines called Altezza Reale De La Rettoria.
The above lines, along with Baral, Catrax …. Introduced into my cattery, resulted in the creation of the Polinikis look, with its open sweet _expression, as its most alluring and attractive characteristic.
My Polinikis Cattery was the first to be registered in Fife and in 2004 I acquired my first female exotic, Miau Panka Exo g, resulting in the first bundle of joy, the Polinikis exotic kitten named Sushi Polinikis, EXO W62.
I now breed solids, bi-colors, tabbies and silver tabbies, and the infatuation and love of felines of my youth, carries on to this day and is evident in my Polinikis line.
I would like to say big THANK to my very good friend, Lysiane Chavallard, from De La Charmeraie cattery for her friendship and for teaching me so many things about cats all those years! Thank you Lysiane! Also would like to thank my friend Natassa Strekker from JEWELSTONE'S cattery, for do her best with that web - site!
